Eve Noelle Hildebrandt (Holly) has been a fiber lover ever since early childhood, learning crocheting around age four and then at eighteen she picked up knitting. She studied dyeing, spinning, and weaving at the John C. Campbell Folk School. Eve met Katrina at Bryan College where they both got their bachelor degrees in musical theatre. She has worked as a theatrical costumer and knitting instructor.  The love of color and fiber has pushed her into exploring the world of dyeing and pattern design.  Her colorways are stories of her experiences and passions.

Katrina J Smith (Ivy) was introduced to the world of yarn by her grandmother when she was about 7 years old. She started with crocheting, (which meant lots and lots of doily and dishcloth gifts for quite a while...). She spent some time learning cross-stitch, ribbon embroidery, latch-hooking, and even some tatting through the years - and loved it all. In college, Katrina met Eve and decided she would finally teach herself to knit over that Christmas Break since she now had a person to ask questions of. She was hooked! Eve also inspired Katrina to try her hand at spindling, which of course she fell in love with. When she discovered the world of hand-dyed yarn, she couldn't help but start digging into the process of dyeing her own yarn. She and Eve played a little on their own with dyeing, but one big dye-day together, and she couldn't get enough! Katrina's colorways are an exploration of color and emotion inspired by nature and experience.
